Internet Requirements
Avvy requires an internet connection to report its position, receive configuration, and receive GPS corrections. Typically Avvy will use 20 GB a month, but if the camera is being regularly viewed, this can be closer to 30GB.
Installing a sim
Standard SIM
Alternatives to cellular
If a reliable cellular connection is not available in the area where Avvy will be operating, Avvy can connect to a local wifi network instead. This invovles installing a Access Point with its own internet connection on Avvy, which Avvy will then utilize.

Starlink
If you are operating a single Avvy and Avvy will have good sky view, then installing a Starlink Mini is worth considering.
Halow - 802.11ah
Hallow is a long range version of Wifi, it uses a lower frequency and lower data rates to acheive longer ranges. A suitable network involves installing a Hallow Access Point at a high location and a Hallow Station on Avvy. Avvy powers and communicates with the installed Hallow station, which relays the internet connection via its link, back to a central site on the farm with an internet connection.
